Multicultural Week

Last week we celebrated multicultural week. We participated in heaps of cool learning activities. We had a shared lunch on Tuesday.

On Thursday we dressed up in our national costume and had two people come to speak to us. Sabina is from Russia and she showed us some photos and shared some interesting facts about her country.

Shalom is from Samoa, she taught us a dance from her country and also shared some interesting facts and photos.

In the afternoon we watched some awesome performances from heaps of different cultures. It was great to see so many people getting involved in the celebrations.

Introducing Self Managed Learning (SML)

This week we started learning routines for our self managed learning. We have a list of tasks to do and when we complete it we move our photo down to the next task! We have been super busy this week finishing off our work from our learning plan, as well as introducing some literacy activities and routines.

When it's too hot inside...

Today was such a hot day that we had to get outside and do a bit of reading in the shade! We had just been to the library so we had heaps of cool new books to read!

Cyber Safety Presentation

Yesterday we went to a presentation by John Parsons and we learnt all about being safe online. He talked to us about what kind of information we shouldn't share to others online. He also told us some real life stories about things that have gone wrong. Can you remember what we shouldn't share with someone online?
